Our Data Plates

Each furniture piece includes a custom data plate designed to reflect both its aviation origin and its new identity. In aviation, part identification and traceability are essential to maintaining clear records throughout a component’s lifecycle. Inspired by that practice, each furniture piece is assigned a new serial number that supports internal tracking while also sharing key details about the design and its origin.

To make the data plate informative and meaningful, we include more than just a serial number. Each plate identifies the aircraft type, the original part, and the general location the component came from—offering a deeper connection to the material’s history and transformation.

How to read the serial number: MGD.02.CT3.1/2.26

02 – Furniture type code; in this example, a coffee table.

CT3 – Design version; here, coffee table version 3.

1/2 – Piece number; this indicates piece 1 of 2 made.

26 – Year of production; in this case, 2026.
