The Inspiration Behind the Furniture Names

At the heart of these collections are stories about people. Our parent company, KF Aerospace, was built through decades of hard work, skill, and commitment from the people behind the company’s success. With more than 1,100 employees and a proud history that began in Kelowna in 1970, KF Aerospace has grown through craftsmanship, dedication, and strong community roots. Inspired by that legacy, every piece of furniture is named in honour of a long-serving team member whose years of service reflect the values that continue to define the company.

This is more than furniture—it is a celebration of loyalty, excellence, and the stories behind an aerospace company that has succeeded for 56 years. By naming each design after employees who have dedicated 25 years or more to KF Aerospace, we recognize the people whose contribution, perseverance, and pride in their work have made a lasting impact. The result is a collection grounded in purpose: timeless pieces that carry forward a legacy of service, respect, and craftsmanship.

How Our Naming System Works.

Our furniture naming convention is inspired by aircraft tail numbers, creating a format that is simple, meaningful, and easy to recognize.
