Meet the Designer
Glori is the Furniture Design & Manufacturing Supervisor at KF, bringing together a lifelong passion for creativity, sustainability, and hands‑on craftsmanship. Her interest in interior design began early, spending much of her childhood decorating and painting her home and later helping friends and family shape their living spaces.
Influenced by her papa’s deep commitment to environmental responsibility, Glori developed an early appreciation for recycling, mindful material use, and transforming found objects into meaningful, repurposed pieces. This ability to see potential where others saw only discarded items became one of her most distinctive creative strengths.
Her practical skills were shaped just as early. By helping with projects around the house, Glori learned how things were built and how materials fit together—knowledge that later became essential in bringing her design visions to life.
Glori joined KF in 2010 and held a variety of roles across the organization. While working as an Executive Assistant, she was invited to design a boardroom table for the Engineering Department, an experience that reinforced her passion for furniture design and hinted at the career direction she hoped to pursue. During the Covid period, Glori chose to formally follow that passion. She enrolled in the Interior Design program at the College of Arts & Technology in 2022 and graduated with honors in 2024.
Shortly after, KF approached her with a unique opportunity: to explore transforming spare parts from the retiring Convair aircraft into furniture. With her blend of creativity, design education, hands‑on experience, and deep company knowledge, Glori was selected to lead the newly created Furniture Department. Over the past year, she has been building a strong foundation for the department and is now focused on innovative, sustainable furniture concepts that reflect both her values and KF’s forward‑thinking.
Our Build Team
Behind every piece of reimagined aviation furniture stands a team of Structures Technicians (AME-S) who have spent their careers mastering the craft. Our team brings 76 years of combined experience shaping aircraft components with precision, integrity, and deep respect for their history.
Together, they transform authentic aircraft parts into one‑of‑a‑kind furniture pieces, merging engineering excellence with modern design. Their expertise ensures that these bespoke creations are not just beautifully made, but also retain the details of the story of where they are from.
Cory
Meet Cory, one of our talented Structures AME’s. His journey into the industry started with family—his cousin worked at KF Aerospace in 1984, and he knew he wanted to follow in those footsteps. Cory began his career at KF 9 years later in 1993.
With over 33 years of experience, Cory brings a high level of technical expertise, deep parts and materials knowledge, and a sense of humor that keeps us on our toes.
One of his proudest career moments? Taking part in a test flight in 2004 on the Bolivian T‑33—an unforgettable experience that reminded him just how exciting this field can be.
Danny
Danny is a seasoned aviation professional and U.S. Army combat veteran with 14 years of military service. After completing his service, he transitioned into civilian aviation maintenance, pursuing his A&P license—the U.S. equivalent of the AME license. He went on to build expertise as an aviation welder, further strengthening his technical foundation in the field.
In 1978, Danny relocated to Canada, bringing his extensive experience and commitment to aviation craftsmanship with him. He joined KF Aerospace in 1995, where he built a long and impactful career. Danny retired from KF twice before returning once more in 2025 to support the development of KF Furniture House with his decades of hands‑on expertise and deep industry knowledge.
Beth
Meet Beth, a skilled Structures Technician who has been part of the KF Aerospace family since 2016. Inspired by a long line of aviation enthusiasts and pilots in her family, she discovered a passion for aviation that has shaped her career.
Over her eight years with the company—and since earning her license in 2020—Beth has contributed to an impressive list of projects, including the restoration of a rare Hawker Tempest Mk2, a record‑setting cargo door conversion and numerous aircraft modifications across multiple fixed‑wing platforms.
Recently, Beth stepped into an exciting new chapter building one‑of‑a‑kind furniture pieces for KF Furniture House. The transition has been challenging, inspiring, and full of growth for her. Beth consistently goes above and beyond to support our team.
